After assisting friends and family in childbirth for over 25 years, Robynne certified as a DONA birth doula in 2010. She is also trained as a CAPPA postpartum doula and an ICEA childbirth educator. Robynne also teaches at University of Utah Medical Center. She loves birth and the wonderful women and families she serves. Robynne knows that for many, the pregnancy, birth, and/or postpartum period is sometimes not what they anticipated.

Lynea Krukiewicz is a birth mother of 31 years reunited 19 years. She is the founder and president of Life-After-Placement, a non-profit birth mother support foundation that seeks to create awareness of women who place as contributors to the adoption community, not those who need rescuing and to provide resources for the mental anguish that placing can do to women.

Maja currently attends Weber State University, Annie Taylor Dee Nursing College, as a graduate student and will graduate summa cum laude with her doctorate degree in December 2022. Her clinical rotations have included General Surgery, Emergency Medicine, ENT, Women's Health, Oncology, Palliative Care, Pediatrics, and Family Medicine. Her doctorate project focused on standardizing perinatal mental health screening in the obstetric clinic setting.

Martha Burkett Fallis, LCSW worked as an advocate and Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Martha has been involved with Domestic Violence advocacy and treatment since 1999.

She has been a lead therapist, clinical director, and hospital administrator. She has served on executive boards and worked closely with various coalitions and associations within our domestic violence treatment community and co-founded the non-profit agency Amethyst Center for Healing.

PMADs in Policy: Why it matters & how to get involved


Heather Dopp began her Maternal Mental Health advocacy work in 2019 after experiencing severe anxiety, depression, and suicidal ideation during her second pregnancy in 2017. From testifying in Utah Legislative Committee hearings to sharing her story with Utah lawmakers in Washington, DC, Heather has learned firsthand the power that lived experience can have on influencing policy change.

Anj Lineback, LCSW received her bachelors in Health Education and Promotion at the University of Utah. Anj attended Portland State University for her Masters in Social Work. Anj has worked with veterans, the homeless population, families, on the behavioral health unit, IOP, and is currently a Perinatal Mental Health Therapist.
